Image
Good Morning, Prayer Warrior- Holy Lord. As I step into this new month of September, Help me to walk in Your footsteps—with grace, love, and truth. Teach me to be patient when it’s hard, Kind when it’s not returned, And humble in all I do. May my heart reflect Your compassion, My words speak peace, And my actions bring light to those around me. Give me strength to serve others joyfully, And courage to stand for what is right. Shape me daily into Your likeness, So that in all things, You are seen in me. Prayer Starter - Sunday, August 31, 2025 "Worship the One that GIves Living Water."

Image
Good morning, Lord. I am excited to join my fellow Christians in worship today. I thank You for all the blessing You bestow on me. I also thank You for my testimony - for the story we have together. Thank You for reminding me how You have interceded in my life and how I have responded. Help me to share our story with those I come in contact with so they, too can drink the water from Your Son, Jesus.  Give me the words to share the living water, the hope and promises of Jesus, to those my life touch. Forgive me for my weaknesses - help make my weaknesses become my strength. Bless those that I meet that they may see Jesus. Bless our worship today. In the Name of Christ, Amen *** Prayer Requests Text Prayer Requests to: 979 - 800 - 3415 Lord, Lead me to one soul today Home Page - See All Prayer Starters

Let's pray this morning - Holy Father,  I lift Your Name up this morning because You are my God and I will praise You. As this month is coming to an end, I realize how time is flying by - just four more months until a new year, 2026!  Wow. God, You are so good.  You have blessed me.... name the blessing on your mind. It could be your health, your family, your salvation.  You name it. I remind you that all of us have something to praise God about. If you can't think of anything then you should ask God to open your eyes so you may see. Holy God, I ask You to forgive me for the things I do that do not please You. It may be sins, it may be a lack of faith, lack of doing his will.  So remember, prayer is a conversation with God and the purpose of prayer is for you and God to get to know each other better, so it is valuable to tell God what is on your mind.  Then ask Him to fill your spirit with His so you will be likely to do His will. Holy Father,  send Yo...

Prayer Starter - Friday, August 29, 2025 "Friday Night Lights"

Image
It's Friday - Game Day.  Friday Night Lights For many of us, Friday night lights bring back memories of gathering with family and friends at the local football field. The lights shining against the night sky signaled more than just a game—it was a place of community, excitement, and hope. In life, we also walk through nights that feel dark. The worries of health, family, or the unknown can weigh heavily. But just as stadium lights brighten the field, the light of Christ shines into our lives. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” ( John 8:12 ). Dear Heavenly Father, many of us are long past the days of Friday night lights; others of us, have a game tonight. Be with us as we are a community - we are family. Be with our students and keep them safe on the field and off. For the rest of us, probably happy those days are behind us, help us to remember Your Son Jesus, is the light of this world. Satan...

Prayer Starter - Thursday, August 28, 2025 "Give me Water from the Well that Never Runs Dry.

Image
Hello, Here is a song I think you will enjoy: Living Water . ( John 4 ESV ). Water is one of the most basic and essential parts of life. Someone once said, "when God created water, everything else was details." That may not capture all the wonder and beauty of God’s creation, but it does remind us how vital water truly is. When Jesus stopped to speak with the Samaritan woman at the well, He crossed two barriers of His time. He spoke with a woman, and He spoke with a Samaritan—something Jews didn't do. Yet Jesus used this simple request for water to open her heart and invite her to see beyond old prejudices and assumptions. The woman reminded Him that He had nothing to draw water with and that the well was deep. But Jesus wasn’t talking about drinking water. He was pointing to Himself—the source of living water, the water that brings eternal life. Water is necessary for life, but Jesus offers something even greater—living water. When He spoke to the Samaritan woman at ...

Prayer Starter - Wedneday, August 27, 2025 "What would Jesus say to You at the Well?"

Image
The story of the Woman at the Well is so inspiring ( John 4  - from The Message ). Here is verse 28-30 from The Message : " The woman took the hint and left. In her confusion she left her water pot. Back in the village she told the people, “Come see a man who knew all about the things I did, who knows me inside and out. Do you think this could be the Messiah?” And they went out to see for themselves." What would Jesus say to us if we met Him at the well? I can almost guarantee, we would also say, "He knows me inside and out." This morning I want to pray thanking Him for knowing us so well. We are truly blessed to have a Lord that loves us this much.   Holy Father, I can only imagine what Jesus would have said to me if I met Him at the well. Like the woman, I would have been scared. I would have been embarrassed to realize that You, God, knows me inside and out.  I stand here today, realizing that I could still be shamed, but understanding You love me and care...

Prayer Starter - Tuesday, August 26, 2025 "Our Story from the Well"

Image
Good Morning, Christian Friend, We are praying this week about "Our Story" like the Woman at the well reflecting on hers and recognizing that Jesus was the Messiah. To help us go out and tell others about Jesus, we are reflecting on how God has interceded in our lives and taken us from being a sinner to living a life of hope found in Jesus.  " We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into  the inner place behind the curtain"    Hebrews 6:19 Dear God, This morning I want to thank You, Heavenly Father, for the hope we have because we recognized Your Son as our Lord and Savior.  It wasn't that long ago, that I was lost in sin, but You saved me. Over the years, I have slipped and failed myself, failed the walk You want me to walk, yet, You have continued to love me and protect me. Thank You, Lord, for never leaving me - even though I have walked away from time to time. Oh, Lord, help me to only grow in Your Spirit and continue to ...

Prayer Starter - Monday, August 25, 2025 "Our Story"

Image
Good Monday Morning- Remember the story of the Woman at the Well. Jesus confronted her and she responded realizing that He was the Messiah.   Read about it in John 4 . Specifically, we are challenged to reflect on the encounter as the woman at the well reflected on her meeting with Jesus.  He told her about her past life and gave her an opportunity to accept "living water" from Him.  John 4:28  Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people,   29  “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”   As we are building our relationship with God through prayer, talking to Him regularly, getting to know Him better, let's concentrate on what God has done for us through salvation.  This isn't just a prayer listing the blessings from God - that would be good, but this week, let's pray remembering the life we had before Christ - or before we really surrendered ourselves to Him. H...

Prayer Starter - Thursday, August 21, 2025 - "Prayer for Healing"

Image
When poor health—whether physical, emotional, or mental—fills us with anxiety, God offers peace and healing. We can always turn to Him in prayer, both for ourselves and for those we love. It’s natural to pray when sickness strikes, but what if we also prayed for health when we’re feeling well? What if we asked God not only to restore our health but to strengthen it? Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.   3 John 1:2 While we can’t control everything—like germs, depression, or disease—we can choose daily habits that nurture our souls, such as reading Scripture and praying over our health. Let us seek complete well-being: mind, body, and spirit. May we invite God’s counsel into every part of our lives and welcome the Holy Spirit’s wisdom to bring healing where it’s needed most. True health is more than a body free of illness—it is a life made whole through God’s presence.  A few prayers depending on y...

Prayer Starter - Wednesday, August 20, 2025 - Pray to Soar Like an Eagle

Image
Good morning, Friend - I woke up early this morning thinking of this passage: " but those who hope   in the   Lord      will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;      they will run and not grow weary,      they will walk and not be faint" - Isaiah 40:31 Probably had this passage on my mind because I am physically and mentally drained. Sometimes we get like that. The good news is as Christians, we can be "wiped out" physically, but still look to the Lord and the hope we have in Him to be spiritually renewed and serve God in all circumstances. Our spiritual strength is found in Jesus. Let's pray this morning: Oh, Lord, Our God, How beautiful is Your Name. Just saying Good Morning, Lord, gives me hope. It reminds me that no matter what, You will sustain me. You provide hope for me. You will save me. Oh, Lord, we get so busy doing the mundane here on earth, we sometimes grow weary; help us turn to Yo...

Prayer Starter- Monday, August 18, 2025 - Intercessory prayer

Image
In tercessory prayer is a beautiful way for us to signify our love for others. Through intercession, we approach God on behalf of our friends, family, and even strangers, asking for His intervention in their lives. We stand in the gap, pleading for healing, comfort, guidance, and strength for others. This act demonstrates our unity in Christ and the compassion we share as we provide support to those who may be struggling. We discover that our prayers can shape lives and influence circumstances beyond our own. The Bible highlights many examples of individuals who prayed fervently for others, showcasing the power and significance of intercession in their communities. “After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.”  – Job    42:10 “But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”  – Luke 22:32 Holy Father, I pray this morning for m...

Prayer Starter- Sunday, August 17, 2025 Sunday Prayer for Peace

Image
ISAIAH 26:3 Good Morning, "You will keep in perfect peace     those whose minds are steadfast,     because they trust in you."   What a beautiful prayer.  And it is so true. God will keep us in perfect peace when our minds are focused on Him. This Sunday morning Lord,  help us stay steadfast with You. Our world is challenged with wars, disagreements, and hatred.  We pray for peace, Oh GOD.  We pray that You will provide peace so we can focus on Your will and do Your Service. Forgive us for our failures. May Your Spirit lift us up so we can serve You to the fullest and receive Your peace. Continue your prayer. In His Name, Amen.

Prayer Starter - Saturday, August 16, 2025. "Children of God"

Image
15  For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”   16  The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, Romans 8:15-16 Heavenly Father,  Thank You for adopting us as Your children. Prayer Starter- Friday, August 15 2025 - Friday's Joy!

Image
Friday Blessing of Joy Another week has passed, and God has been faithful. Today, pause to thank Him for His guidance, ask for His blessings on the weekend ahead, and rest in the peace of His presence. As the sun rises on this day, we're reminded of the sacrifice and anticipatory joy – a day that bridges our weekly labors with the approaching day of rest. Fridays hold deep meaning in biblical history. It was on this day that Jesus demonstrated the ultimate expression of divine love through His sacrifice on the cross. This sacred connection transforms our understanding of Friday blessings from simple weekly rituals into powerful moments of spiritual significance. Each Friday serves as a testament to God's redemptive work in our lives. "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."   Philippians 4:7 Holy Father in Heaven,  Praise be to Your Name for You are the Lord of Lords. Thank You for Friday. Thank...
