Prayer Starter - Friday, December 26, 2025 The Gift of Redemption

Good morning, Friend -

I hope you had a blessed week so far.

Because God chose to be Emmanuel - God with us, He also chose to become our Redeemer. Redemption is the heart of the gospel: God did not only come near; He came to rescue.

Scripture tells us, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7). Through Jesus, God paid the price we could never pay ourselves. Our sin, guilt, and separation were taken upon Christ so that we could be forgiven, restored, and made new.

Redemption means our past no longer defines us. What was broken can be healed. What was lost can be found. In Christ, we are no longer slaves to sin but children of God, living in the freedom of His grace.

The gift of redemption reminds us that God’s love is not distant or conditional. He opened the way for eternal life. Because of Jesus, we walk forward redeemed - loved, forgiven, and free.

Holy Father, Thank You for the gift of Jesus as our Redeemer. Oh, Lord, You are our God and You are our Redeemer!  Thank You for forgiving us of our sins and thank You for restoring us to be in Your Family.

This morning, I pray for those who are struggling. Whether is is with their personal faith or the tempations from the temptor, I pray for those separated from You.

May Your Spirit bless those who love You. May Your Spirit watch over us and help us to serve You to the fullest. We praise Your Name because You are the Great Redeemer.

Continue your personal prayer

In the Name of Jesus, Amen
