Friday, March 27, 2026 - Psalm 104–105: Remembering the God the Creator and the God of History

Psalm 104 and 105 invite us to step back and see the bigger picture of who God is.

I will sing to the Lord all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
May my meditation be pleasing to him,
as I rejoice in the Lord.
But may sinners vanish from the earth
and the wicked be no more.

Praise the Lord, my soul.

Praise the Lord. (Psalm 104:33-34)

Good morning, friend, Read these two Psalms and let's see our Lord.

Psalm 104 celebrates God as Creator and Sustainer. It paints a beautiful picture of the world and reminds us that everything is held together by His wisdom and care. Nothing is random. Every breath, every sunrise, every provision comes from His hand. Even when life feels uncertain, God is still sustaining the world; and He is sustaining you.

Psalm 105 shifts from creation to history, reminding us how God has been faithful to His people through generations.  God didn’t forget His people then and He hasn’t forgotten you now.

When we walk through change, uncertainty, or even grief, it’s easy to feel worthless or unsteady. But these psalms remind us that the same God who orders the stars and guided His people through history is the One holding our lives today.

So we remember.
We remember His power.
We remember His faithfulness.
And when we remember, we find peace.

Lord, You are the Creator of all things and the faithful God of every generation. Help me trust You in both the big picture and the small details of my life. When I feel uncertain, remind me of Your power and Your faithfulness. Continue your personal prayer.

I choose to remember and rest in You today. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.

Lord, Lead me to one soul today.
