Prayer Starter - Wedneday, March 11, 2026 Psalm 77-78, God is a great god.
Psalms 77 and 78 remind us that everyone goes through times when they feel worried, confused, or even a little doubtful about life. In Psalm 77, the writer is upset and cries out to God, wondering if God has forgotten him. But then he starts thinking about all the things God has done in the past -- how God helped His people and showed His power. Remembering those moments helps him trust God again. PSALM 77:13-14 Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. Psalm 78 continues by telling the story of how God took care of His people over many years. Even when they made mistakes and forgot about Him, God was patient and kept helping them. The psalm teaches that it’s important to tell these stories so the next generation can learn about God’s goodness.
