Monday, June 1, 2026 Praying Like Jesus #2 Gratitude
Monday Morning Prayer Father, Thank You for Your Provision Matthew 14:19 Before the miracle happened, Jesus gave thanks. Standing before a crowd of more than five thousand people, the disciples saw a problem. They saw empty stomachs and limited resources. Jesus saw something different. He took five loaves and two fish, looked toward heaven, and thanked the Father. What is remarkable is that Jesus gave thanks before the bread was multiplied. His gratitude was rooted not in what He could see, but in confidence that God would provide. We often wait to thank God until after our prayers are answered. Jesus teaches us to trust God's provision even before we see the outcome. Whether our need is physical, emotional, or spiritual, our Heavenly Father knows what we need and is able to provide in ways we may not expect.
