Saturday, May 16, 2026, Proverbs 24:23–34 Praying to be more Diligent

Father, help me to live with honesty, fairness, and wisdom. Guard my heart from laziness and distraction that slowly pull me away from You. Teach me to work faithfully, speak truthfully, and care for the responsibilities You have given me. When I grow weary, renew my spirit and remind me that small acts of faithfulness matter. Let my life reflect diligence, integrity, and trust in You each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Proverbs 24:23–34 reminds us diligence and integrity should be part of our everyday life.  We are to avoid being lazy. Our wisdom grows when we faithfuly continue to walk with God.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering. Emmanuel reminds us that God is present in every season of life. When we feel alone, He is with us. When we walk through uncertainty, He walks beside us.
