Prayer Starter, Wednesday, April 16, 2025


Good Morning, 

As we focus on finding God's purpose this week in our Prayer Starters, let's read Proverbs 19:21 "Many plans are in a man’s mind,
But it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand" (be carried out). 

God's thoughts towards us are always good, and He desires to give us a hope and a future. This morning, let's recognize this and tell God we know He has a plan for us and we can ask Him to help us.  Let us ask Him to help us decipher the difference between His plans and our plans.

Dear Lord,

I know You love me and You have awesome plans for me.  Please help me to trust Your Spirit to guide me in understandingYour plans for me.  Help me....

Assurance is God’s gift of steady confidence in His promises. In a world filled with uncertainty, God offers His children the peace of knowing that our salvation, hope, and future rest securely in Him—not in our own strength or performance. “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” — 1 John 5:13 God’s assurance reminds us that we belong to Him. When doubts arise or fears whisper that we are not enough, His Word speaks truth: we are held by His grace. Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering. Emmanuel reminds us that God is present in every season of life. When we feel alone, He is with us. When we walk through uncertainty, He walks beside us. Jesus experienced human weakness, sorrow, and temptation, yet without sin, so that we could know God not just as Creator, but as Companion and Savior.
