“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8

Here is another passage that also speaks about trees planted near water. Pick a word or a phrase and then use our 4 steps to pray to God
Divine Biblical reading is a form to communion with God in prayer. There are four (4) steps:
1. Read a passage. First you read the passage gently. Read outloud - multiple times - get the picture of God in the message. Identify a word or phrase and commit to that term for the day.
2. Meditate the scripture. Second, meditate on His word. Let the scripture read to you. Use the passage to help you reflect and self-examine. Ask, how does this apply to me? Ask God to speak and reveal what He wants you to get from this passage.
3. Speak the passage. Now after allowing God and His Spirit to speak to you, respond. Communicate your thoughts about the passage to Him. Speak to Him from your emotions that the scripture fills you with.
4. Contemplate the message. Finally, contemplate what does God want us to do now that you have listened to His words, prayed this phrase and spoke to Him. Now be quiet and receive His blessings. It may be assurance. It could be forgiveness, but receive the blessing from God.
Oh Lord, I lift Your Name on high. I pray this morning that I will learn to trust You. In doing so, I will be like a tree planted by water. I will not worry. And I will bear fruit for You.
In Jesus precious Name, I pray -
Amen
At the end of they day, talk to God again and see how well you meditated on this phrase today.
Hope you have a blessed day and continue to practice Divine Biblical Reading in Prayer.
