Good Morning Prayer Partner -

We have been at this for a few weeks now. This is about the 30th "prayer reminder." I hope you have joined me in prayer on most mornings, but if you miss, don't fret. God is waiting on us to pray. He tells us to "continuous pray" (I Thess 5:17).

Yes, I originally said we would pray together Monday - Friday, but I am still sharing on the weekends.  Reason - I need to be reminded Everyday to pray, so I thought it would be worthwhile to share a prayer thought all seven days.

If you ever get tired of the messages, just text me back, "Stop," but I hope you never "stop" praying. As Paul wrote in I Tim. 2:8, "I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting."

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives. (Colossians 1:9).

Finally, listen to Jeremiah (29:7): Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.

God, this morning I lift Your Name in praise because I love You and want to be Your servant.  Help me to continue to build my faith and to pray throughout my day to You. I pray the Spirit will give me wisdom and understanding. I pray that You will provide peace and prosperity to my community.

Prayer Starter - Thursday, June 26, 2025 Pray for a Helicopter

Good Morning, I hope you won't be offended, but I want to share an old joke with you that drives home an important point regarding what the Bible tells us about prayer and trusting in God. A religious man was trapped on the roof of his house during a bad flood. He prayed to God to save him. Before the waters were too high, a neighbor drove by and offered to take him in his truck before the water rose. He declined the offer and said "God will save me."  As the water rose, vehicles could no longer drive by and a Fire & Rescue crew came by in a boat. Again, an offer for rescue and again, the religious man said, he would wait upon the Lord.  Finally the water is destroying the house and it is near the lower levels of the roof. Another rescue attempt this time by helicopter, offers to whisk him away to safely and he declines, relying on God to save him, only to die in the great storm. Prayer Starter - Thursday, October 23, 2025. God’s Faithfulness in Every Season

Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV) "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." As we grow older, life often brings unexpected challenges—health concerns, changes in relationships, and the reality of life's brevity. But in all the seasons of life, one thing remains constant: God's faithfulness. In the book of Lamentations, Jermiah the.prophet, reflects on a time of great sorrow and hardship.
