Good Morning, Prayer Warrior!

It is Sunday, the Lord's Day. We will continue with our theme of asking God for boldness to proclaim Him wherever we are.


Acts 4 verse 29 
"Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness."

Through prayer we can communicate with God, and ask Him to mold and shape us.

Our Lord,

Thank You for Your bold acts of love towards me. You did not withhold even Your Son, and through Him I now have everlasting life.

My prayer is that this life that I now live would be lived in boldness for Christ. Just as Your Son gave His life for me, help me to give my life for Him each day. Keep me from shying away from being a bold witness to Christ and His good news. 

It is not my own abilities that I rely on, but on the power of Your Holy Spirit working in and through me. I ask that Your Spirit would grow me in boldness, confidence and courage. Help me to stand firm in my faith, and not be moved by the world and its pressures to fit in. Psalm 1

Whenever I encounter hatred for my faith, I ask that You would remind me that Christ endured hatred too. Remind me that living for Christ means implies I will endure the treatment  similiar to that Jesus endured and that it is an honor to suffer for the sake of Christ. 

In His Name, Amen.


1 John 2:28 "And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming".

Today's Prayer Starter Good morning! As we begin this five day journey of praying specifically to build our relationship with God, let's start with a prayer of adoration. In Psalm 8 , David prays a prayer of adoration.  "O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babies and infants, You have established strength because of yor foes, to still the enemy and the avenger." You can read the entire Psalm, but this morning use David's prayer to help you tell God why you believe His name is majestic in all the earth.  Try it! Prayer Starter - Thursday, June 26, 2025 Pray for a Helicopter

Good Morning, I hope you won't be offended, but I want to share an old joke with you that drives home an important point regarding what the Bible tells us about prayer and trusting in God. A religious man was trapped on the roof of his house during a bad flood. He prayed to God to save him. Before the waters were too high, a neighbor drove by and offered to take him in his truck before the water rose. He declined the offer and said "God will save me."  As the water rose, vehicles could no longer drive by and a Fire & Rescue crew came by in a boat. Again, an offer for rescue and again, the religious man said, he would wait upon the Lord.  Finally the water is destroying the house and it is near the lower levels of the roof. Another rescue attempt this time by helicopter, offers to whisk him away to safely and he declines, relying on God to save him, only to die in the great storm. Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV) "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." As we grow older, life often brings unexpected challenges—health concerns, changes in relationships, and the reality of life's brevity. But in all the seasons of life, one thing remains constant: God's faithfulness. In the book of Lamentations, Jermiah the.prophet, reflects on a time of great sorrow and hardship.
