Prayer Starter - Friday, July 4, 2025 "Pray for America" #2


As someone who loves the United States, I often think about our country’s history—the good times and the hard times. Even though we face problems today, I remember that God’s Word gives us hope and the promise that things can get better.

Our country has been through tough times before. But we are strong people who work together and don’t give up. As we go through challenges now, let’s remember to look to God for help and ask Him to guide us with His love and grace.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chron. 7:14 (NIV)

Oh, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, we lift our Nation up to You.

Heavenly Father, we beseech You to send Your angels to our communities and our country to help our worlds turn from their wicked ways and hear Your voice. May Jesus forgive our sins and heal our country.

Continue today to pray for God to lead you to One Soul today. May the Spirit of God watch over you and guide you this day.

The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering.
