Prayer Starter - Friday, September 5, 2025 -Joy in God Alone
As we begin this new day, Habakkuk 3 offers us a beautiful reminder: our joy is not tied to our circumstances but to our God. The prophet declared, “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will be joyful in God my Savior” (Habakkuk 3:18).
Even when life feels uncertain or heavy, we can choose joy—not because everything is easy, but because God is faithful. His promises are unshakable, His love is unfailing, and His presence brings peace that the world cannot take away.
This morning, let’s fix our hearts on Him. Whatever challenges await us today, may we walk forward with confidence, knowing that our joy rests securely in the Lord of our salvation.
“Lord, thank You that my joy is not found in the ups and downs of life but in You alone. Help me today to see beyond my circumstances and to rejoice in Your goodness and faithfulness. Father, I lift up Your Name and praise You!
Build on your thoughts.. Tell God what is on your
May today be filled with confidence found in Christ. Forgive me of my wrongs; guide me by Your Spirit, and may I praise You all the days of my life.
In the Name of Jesus. Amen.”
Though the fig tree should not blossom,
nor fruit be on the vines,
the produce of the olive fail
and the fields yield no food,
the flock be cut off from the fold
and there be no herd in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
19 God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer's;
he makes me tread on my high places. Hab, 3:17-19.
