Prayer Starter - Sunday, October 26, 2025 Sunday Prayer for Service
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25).
This verse encourages believers to come together in community, something often practiced on Sunday mornings.
“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed” (Mark 1:35).
This example from Jesus himself shows the importance of starting our day with prayer and communion with God.
“Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord. Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore” (Psalm 113:1-2).
Dear God, as this new day and week begin, we pause to acknowledge Your presence. Thank You for the promise of today. Guide our thoughts, words, and actions, and fill our hearts with peace and purpose.
Continue your personal prayer of praise and adoration. Let your request be known to God.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
