Prayer Starter - Tuesday, October 7, 2025 Walk and Pray

 

Throughout God's word we see the term "walk" as it describes our life with Jesus.

Eph.5:1-2 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children  and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

This morning meditate on how God has walked alongside you over the years.  Sure there have been challenging times. Times you thought, 'Hey, where is God?' - only to realize years later He was with you all the time.

You might be in such a time as this- wondering where is God. You might be in a time where you are ignoring Him in your life walk.  Hopefully, you are experiencing the joy of walking with Him right now. Whatever your circumstances, just have a little talk with Him this morning.


Dear God,  

Thank You for walking with me. Please rein me in when I wonderful off.  Please send Your Spirit to keep me on the path You have paved for me.

I am thankful to You, Lord, for all the blessing You have sent my way. Praise Your Name, Lord, because You are a good, good God. THANK YOU!

In Psalm 8 , David prays a prayer of adoration.  "O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babies and infants, You have established strength because of yor foes, to still the enemy and the avenger." Prayer Starter - Thursday, June 26, 2025 Pray for a Helicopter

Good Morning, I hope you won't be offended, but I want to share an old joke with you that drives home an important point regarding what the Bible tells us about prayer and trusting in God. A religious man was trapped on the roof of his house during a bad flood. He prayed to God to save him. Before the waters were too high, a neighbor drove by and offered to take him in his truck before the water rose. He declined the offer and said "God will save me."  As the water rose, vehicles could no longer drive by and a Fire & Rescue crew came by in a boat. Again, an offer for rescue and again, the religious man said, he would wait upon the Lord.  Finally the water is destroying the house and it is near the lower levels of the roof. Another rescue attempt this time by helicopter, offers to whisk him away to safely and he declines, relying on God to save him, only to die in the great storm. Prayer Starter - Thursday, October 23, 2025. God’s Faithfulness in Every Season

Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV) "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." As we grow older, life often brings unexpected challenges—health concerns, changes in relationships, and the reality of life's brevity. But in all the seasons of life, one thing remains constant: God's faithfulness. In the book of Lamentations, Jermiah the.prophet, reflects on a time of great sorrow and hardship. Yet, he still finds reason to hope. Why? Because God’s faithfulness is unwavering. Even when circumstances seem difficult or uncertain, God’s love and compassion never fail.
