Prayer Starter - Sunday, November 2, 2025 "Sunday Family Prayer"

Heavenly Father, on this Sunday morning, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and awe. We thank You for the gift of rest and the fresh start that this day brings. As the sun rises, it reminds us of Your unending love and the new mercies that greet us at the start of each day.

Lord, we invite You into our homes, our hearts, and our minds as we seek to center ourselves in Your presence. Help us to let go of any worries or burdens that may be weighing us down, and fill us instead with Your peace and comfort.

As we spend time in prayer and reflection, open our ears to hear Your voice and our hearts to receive Your wisdom. Guide us in our interactions with others, that we may show Your love and kindness in all that we do.

We pray for those who are gathering in worship today, that they may feel Your presence and be inspired to live out Your teachings in the week to come. Bless the leaders of our worship services, and grant them the words and wisdom to lead us closer to You.

In all that we do today, may we bring glory to Your name and be reminded of the love and grace that surrounds us. Because of your Son,  Amen.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering.
