The Gift of Peace

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.


We are focused on gifts from God. Through Jesus God offers a peace the world cannot match. Peace that settles the soul even when circumstances remain messy. His peace calms storms within us, guards our hearts, and steadies our steps. This gift reminds us that God is in control, and we can rest in His presence no matter what today holds. I hope your days are good, that you have no worries.  But if that is not the state you are in, you should rest in the gift of peace only our good God can provide.


Lord, thank You for the peace You give. Quiet my worries and calm my heart as I rest in Your promises today.

Holy Father, I pray for my friends who are troubled. Help them as You always help me to realize Your peace is real. Through You we should not worry because You watch over us and You protect us.  Thank You, Father for all of Your gifts.

In the Name of Your Son, Amen.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people.
