Prayer Starter - Sunday, January 25, 2026 Prayer as Storms Pass

We got a few days before this storm passes, but here is a comforting thought: After the storm passes, the world often will feel quieter. The air is still, the ground is changed, and we step forward more carefully than before. In those moments, God invites us not only to thank Him for protection, but to trust Him with what comes next.

Scripture reminds us, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you” (Isaiah 26:3). God’s peace is not just for the middle of the storm—it is for the days that follow, when we reflect, rebuild, and move ahead in faith.

Let this winter be a reminder that God’s hand remains upon you. As you walk forward, carry gratitude in your heart and confidence in His promises. The same God who guarded you through the cold winds and heavy skies will guide you into brighter days, steadying your steps with His unfailing love.

Thank You, Lord, for Protecting us through these stormy times. I sit here this morning, listening to Your perfect peace. Thank You for reminding us that Your Spirit is watching over us.

Be with those who have suffered in these storms. Bring peace to them. Calm our spirits.

Protect us as we continue forward this week. Bless us as we walk with You.

In the Name of Your Son, Amen.
