Prayer Starter - Monday, March 23, 2026 Make a Joyful Noise - Psalm 100

 


Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
2     Serve the Lord with gladness!
    Come into his presence with singing!

3 Know that the Lord, he is God!
    It is he who made us, and we are his;
    we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
    and his courts with praise!
    Give thanks to him; bless his name!

5 For the Lord is good;
    his steadfast love endures forever,
    and his faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 100)


Psalm 100 is a joyful invitation to worship. It calls us to “shout for joy to the Lord” and come before Him with thanksgiving. This psalm reminds us that worship is not meant to be quiet or forced—it flows from a heart that recognizes how good God truly is.

At its core, Psalm 100 points us to a simple but powerful truth: we belong to God. He made us, He cares for us, and we are His people. Because of that, gratitude becomes a natural response. No matter what we are facing, we can still thank Him for His constant presence and unfailing love.

The psalm closes with a beautiful promise - “For the Lord is good and His love endures forever.” That means His goodness is not temporary, and His faithfulness will never run out.

Psalm 100 encourages us to start each day with praise, remembering who God is and letting gratitude shape our attitude, our words, and our actions. Join me in a prayer of praise this morning.

Lord, thank You for Your goodness and unfailing love. Help me begin each day with a heart full of gratitude. Remind me that I belong to You and that Your faithfulness never ends. Let my life reflect joy and thankfulness in all I do.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering.
