Prayer Starter - Wednesday, March 4, 2026 Psalm
Summon your power, God.
show us your strength, our God, as you have done before. (Vs 28).
Psalm 68 is a powerful celebration of God’s strength and victory. It opens with a bold declaration: “May God arise, may His enemies be scattered.” This psalm reminds us that God is not passive. He moves. He delivers. He defends His people.
Throughout the psalm, God is described as a Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, and a provider for the lonely. His victory is not only about power - it is about compassion. He leads captives to freedom and places the isolated into families. His strength is matched by His mercy.
Psalm 68 also paints a picture of God marching forward in triumph. Nations may rise and fall, challenges may come and go, but God remains sovereign. His purposes cannot be stopped. His reign is secure.
For us today, Psalm 68 is a reminder that whatever we face, we do not face it alone. The God who is mighty in battle is also tender in care. He goes before us. He fights for us. And He surrounds us with grace.
When life feels overwhelming, remember: our God is victorious. His strength is greater than our struggles, and His love is steady in every season.
