Tuesday, March 31, 2026 Psalm 110 Victory of the Resurrection

The Lord says to my lord:

“Sit at my right hand
    until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”  Psalm 110:1 (NIV)

Psalm 110 points us beyond the cross to the victory of the resurrection.
“The Lord says to my Lord: ‘Sit at my right hand…’” (v. 1). What looked like defeat on Friday became triumph on Sunday. Jesus did not remain in the grave. He rose and was exalted to the right hand of God.

The resurrection is not just proof of life after death; it is the declaration that Jesus reigns. He is not only Savior; He is King. Every fear, every enemy, even death itself, is placed under His authority.  Jesus is the King of the world.

Because He lives and reigns, we can live with confidence. The risen Christ is not distant. Our Savior, Jesus, is ruling, interceding, and working even now.

Lord, thank You that Jesus is risen and reigning. Help me to trust Your authority over every part of my life. Teach me to live with confidence, knowing my King is alive and on the throne.

Continue your personal prayer.

In His Name,  Amen.
