Friday, April 17, 2027 Psalms 132-134 God’s Presence and Worship Together


Lord God,

You are faithful to every promise You have made.
Just as You remembered David and established Your dwelling place,
I trust that You are still at work - establishing Your purposes in my life.

Make my heart a place where You are honored.
Let my life be a resting place for Your presence,
where righteousness grows and joy overflows.
Clothe me with Your salvation,
and let my words and actions reflect Your goodness.

Father, teach me to live in unity with others.
Where there is division, bring peace.
Where there is distance, build a connection.
Let love flow like oil, rich, healing, and set apart for Your purposes.

And Lord, I choose to bless You at all times -
in the quiet moments, in the busy days,
in the night seasons, and the bright ones.
My hands are lifted to You,
for You alone are worthy of praise.

From where I stand, I look to You -
the Maker of heaven and earth -
and I receive Your blessing, Your peace, and Your presence.

In Your holy name,
Amen.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering. Emmanuel reminds us that God is present in every season of life. When we feel alone, He is with us. When we walk through uncertainty, He walks beside us.
