Good Monday morning, Prayer Warrior -

Read with me Proverbs 1

The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:

 for gaining wisdom and instruction;
    for understanding words of insight;
 for receiving instruction in prudent behavior,
    doing what is right and just and fair;
 for giving prudence to those who are simple,
    knowledge and discretion to the young—
 let the wise listen and add to their learning,
    and let the discerning get guidance—
 for understanding proverbs and parables,
    the sayings and riddles of the wise.  (Proverbs 1:1-6 NIV)

Lord, give me a heart that desires Your wisdom above my own understanding.   Help me to listen when You speak and not ignore Your correction.   Guard me from the pull of wrong influences and keep my steps on the path of righteousness.

Teach me to live with reverence for You, knowing that true wisdom begins with honoring Your name.  Add your personal prayers
Today, help me choose what is right, even when it is not easy.

Through Jesus, I pray this proverb of Solomon, Amen.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering. Emmanuel reminds us that God is present in every season of life. When we feel alone, He is with us. When we walk through uncertainty, He walks beside us.
