Saturday, April 18, 2026 Psalm 135-136

 


Lord, You are great and greatly to be praised.

You do whatever pleases You in heaven and on earth,

and all creation reflects Your power and glory.

You are the God who acts—

who rescues, provides, and leads Your people.

Thank You for the ways You have worked in my life,

even when I didn’t see it at the time.

Your love endures forever.

In every season—through joy and hardship—

Your mercy never fails.

Help me to trust You more,

to remember Your faithfulness,

and to give You thanks in all things.

I praise You, Lord,

for You alone are worthy.

Amen.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering. Emmanuel reminds us that God is present in every season of life. When we feel alone, He is with us. When we walk through uncertainty, He walks beside us.
