Thursday, April 16, 2026 Psalm 130-131 Praying the Psalms
Good Morning, Prayer Warriors-
This morning, let's read Psalms 130-131. Here is a condensed version that I turned into my prayer this morning. Please feel free to pray it as it fits your life.
Psalm 130
From the depths of my pain, I cry out to You, Lord.
Please hear my voice and listen to my prayer.
If You kept a record of our sins, Lord, no one could stand before You.
But You offer forgiveness, so we can live in awe and respect of You.
I wait for You, Lord, with all my heart.
I put my hope in Your word.
I wait for You, Lord, more eagerly than watchmen wait for the morning -
Yes, more than watchmen wait for the dawn.
My friends and I place our hope in You, Lord.
for You are full of unfailing love and ready to redeem.
You will rescue Your people from all our sins.
Psalm 131
Lord, my heart is not proud, and my eyes are not arrogant.
I do not concern myself with things that are too great or beyond my understanding.
Instead, I have calmed and quieted my soul,
like a weaned child resting peacefully with its mother;
My soul is content and at rest.
I trust my prayer warrior firends, will put their hope in You, Lord,
now and forever.
Amen

Lord, Lead me to one soul today.
