Tuesday, April 28, 2026 A Prayer from Proverbs 2

 


Lord,

Give me a heart that truly seeks You.
Help me to listen for Your wisdom and treasure Your truth above all else.

Open my mind to understand what is right and good,
and guide my steps, so I do not stray towards wrong paths.

Protect me with Your wisdom,
and lead me to walk in integrity each day.

Continue your personal prayer

Teach me to desire You more than anything.

In Jesus' Name,

Amen.


Read Proberbs 2.  Here are the first five verses:

My son, if you accept my words
    and store up my commands within you,
2 
turning your ear to wisdom
    and applying your heart to understanding—
3 
indeed, if you call out for insight
    and cry aloud for understanding,
4 
and if you look for it as for silver
    and search for it as for hidden treasure,
5 
then you will understand the fear of the Lord
    and find the knowledge of God.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering.
