Tuesday, April 7, 2026 Psalm 119 "Walk in His Ways"


This week, the prayer is first, based on the verses I will link below. Let God know you want to know HIm better - read scripture and pray each day. God bless!

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for showing me that a blessed life is found in walking in Your ways. Teach me to seek You with all my heart and not wander from Your truth. Help me to hide Your Word deep within me so that it shapes my thoughts, my choices, and my life. Open my eyes to see the beauty and wisdom in Your Word, and give me a desire to delight in it daily. Help me to stay pure. Even when life is hard, remind me that Your truth is my guide and my counsel.

Blessed are those who live with integrity,
who walk according to the Lord’s instruction.
Blessed are those who keep His ways
and seek Him with all their heart.

They do no wrong
but follow His paths.
You have given Your commands
so that we may live carefully and faithfully.

Oh, that my ways were steady
in obeying Your instructions.
Then I would not be ashamed
when I consider all You have commanded.

I will praise You with a sincere heart
as I learn Your righteous ways.
I will obey Your decrees—
please do not leave me.

How can a person stay pure?
By living according to Your Word.
I seek You with all my heart;
do not let me wander from Your commands.

I have hidden Your Word in my heart
so that I might not sin against You.
You are worthy of praise, Lord—
teach me Your ways.

With my lips I speak
all that You have declared.
I rejoice in following Your path
as much as in great riches.

I meditate on Your instructions
and pay attention to Your ways.
I delight in what You have said;
I will not forget Your Word.

Be good to me, Your servant,
so I may live and keep Your Word.
Open my eyes
so I can see the wonders in Your law.

I am a stranger here on earth;
do not hide Your commands from me.
My soul is consumed with longing
for Your guidance at all times.

You rebuke the proud
who wander from Your commands.
Remove disgrace and contempt from me,
for I keep Your testimonies.

Even when rulers speak against me,
I will meditate on Your Word.
Your testimonies are my delight;
they are my counselors.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people.
