Wednesday, April 29, 2026 A Prayer from Proverbs 3

 


My son, do not forget my teaching,
    but let your heart keep my commandments,
2 
for length of days and years of life
    and peace they will add to you.  (Proverbs 3:1-2 ESV)

Almight God,
Help me to trust in You with all my heart
and not rely on my own understanding.

In every part of my life,
teach me to acknowledge You
so You can guide my path.

Give me wisdom to choose what is right,
and humility to turn away from wrong.

Help me to honor You with all I have
and to live a life that reflects Your truth.

When You correct me, Lord,
remind me that it is out of Your love.

Fill my heart with peace,
and let me rest securely in You.

Because of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering. Emmanuel reminds us that God is present in every season of life. When we feel alone, He is with us. When we walk through uncertainty, He walks beside us.
