Tuesday, May 26, 2026 Praying for God to be Our Protector

Heavenly Father,

Today I come to You, grateful that You are my shelter, my strength, and my protector. When life feels uncertain, I find peace in knowing that I can run to You for safety and comfort. Your presence is my strong tower, and I trust You to watch over me each day.

Lord, please give me wisdom and understanding as I make decisions and walk through the challenges of life. Help me avoid harmful choices, discouragement, and anything that would pull my heart away from You. Keep my mind clear and my spirit steady.

Let Your truth calm my fears and ease my worries. I place my home, my family, my health, and my daily responsibilities into Your loving hands. Thank You for surrounding me with Your care and faithfulness.

Watch over my coming and going, and guide me in Your ways. Help me live each day with peace, confidence, and trust, knowing You are always near.

In the holy name of Jesus, I pray.
Amen.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering.
