Wednesday, May 20, 2026 Thankful for the Gift of Another Year (Prov. 28)


Good Morning, Prayer Warriors!

Today is my 65th Birthday. As I start another year, I am reading Proverbs 28, the chapter we are on today, and I realize that a Godly life is built on integrity and wisdom. Living in reverence for God, we find peace and direction.   Birthdays are more than celebrations of age; they are reminders that every year is a gift from the Lord. 

As I reflect on another year of life, I hope you will join me in the reading of Proverbs 28. These proverbs encourage you and me to walk honestly, to seek wisdom, and to trust God with our future.  We are reminded that those who follow the Lord can live with confidence and hope, knowing He continues to guide their steps. Every birthday is an opportunity to thank God for His faithfulness and to begin another year seeking His wisdom more deeply.

Father, thank You for the gift of another year of life. Thank You for Your grace, protection, and faithfulness through every season. As I step into this new year, help me walk in wisdom, integrity, and trust in You. 

Pray your personal prayer.

Lead my heart closer to Your purpose and fill my days with peace, joy, and opportunities to reflect Your love to others.  

In Jesus' Name, I pray; Amen.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering.
