Wednesday, May 6, 2026 Proverbs 10 & 11 Praying for a Life of Integrity
Good morning, Friends:
The proverbs take a different look beginning today with chapters 10 - 11.
Proverbs 10 and 11 draw a clear line between two ways of living: a life built on integrity and a life driven by self.
A self-centered life may seem rewarding for a moment, but it often leads to emptiness, broken relationships, and regret. In contrast, a life of integrity—honest, humble, and rooted in God—brings stability, peace, and lasting impact.
Whoever winks maliciously causes grief,
and a chattering fool comes to ruin.
11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
(Prov. 10:10-11)
These proverbs remind us that what we say, how we act, and how we treat others truly matter. Integrity isn’t about perfection; rather it’s about choosing what is right, even when no one is watching.
In the end, living for ourselves fades quickly—but living for God and others leaves a legacy that lasts.
Let's pray:
Lord, help me to live with integrity in every part of my life. Guard my words, guide my actions, and keep my heart from becoming self-centered. Teach me to choose what is right over what is easy, and to live in a way that honors You each day.
