Friday, August 7, 2026 Prayer to Finish the Week

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.  -  Colossians 3:23-24 

Heavenly Father,

As this week comes to a close, help me finish well. May I serve with a willing heart, remembering that every act of kindness, every responsibility, and every opportunity to help others is ultimately done for You. 

Guard me from weariness and distraction, and give me joy in faithful service. Thank You for walking with me through this week. May my work honor You and my life reflect Christ in all I do. 

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering.
