Monday, August 3, 2026 Pray for a New Day!



 "Because of the Lord's faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."

— Lamentations 3:22–23

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of a new week (and for me, a new school year).  As this Monday begins, fill my heart with hope, my mind with wisdom, and my hands with a desire to serve You. 

Help me to face every opportunity and every challenge with faith instead of fear. 

Let my words bring encouragement, and my actions reflect Your love. May my life honor You in all I do. 

Thank You that Your mercies as they are new every morning.  Your faithfulness never fails.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

To my friends that are teachers and work in the public school system, remember you are the light that reflects Jesus to the staff and students you interact with. May the light always shine brightly from you.

To my many friends - prayer list is updated. So many of our friends are in need of prayer.  I have 3 friends that have lost loved ones this past week. 

In our church family, I know of many with health conditions that they are concerned with. Let's pray they face these challenges with the knowledge of God's faithfulness.

Merry Christmas.  Good morning, friend: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us ). — Matthew 1:23 From the very beginning, God’s desire has been to dwell with His people. The promise of Emmanuel - God with us  — is the fulfillment of that longing. In Jesus Christ, God did not remain distant or unreachable. He stepped into our world, our struggles, and our suffering. Emmanuel reminds us that God is present in every season of life. When we feel alone, He is with us. When we walk through uncertainty, He walks beside us.
