Holy Lord,     AS we wrap up this week, we thank You for the majestic poem, the longest chapter in the Bible, to teach us, to remind us, to encourage us.  May we be like the writer - while still a.person who slips and fall, makes mistakes, sins; may we also grow our passion to be like You. May we grow in love with Your Word. I hope each one of us will overcome our slothfulness and we will dedicate our lives to prayer and study so we will be well equipped to serve You all the days of our lives. Thank You for Jesus.  Through His power, I pray. AMEN. Psalm 119:137–176 (Paraphrase)  NIV Lord, You are righteous, and everything You decide is right. The commands You give are just and completely trustworthy. My passion for Your truth consumes me because others ignore Your Word. Your promises have been tested and proven, and I deeply love them. I may seem small and overlooked, but I do not forget Your ways. Your righteousness is eternal, and Your tru...

It's Friday!  Lord, grow in me a deeper love for Your Word— a love that fills my thoughts and guides my choices each day. Let Your truth shape how I see the world and keep my steps from wandering into wrong paths. Be my light when the way is unclear and my refuge when I feel surrounded or pressured. Give me understanding beyond my own ability, and teach me to recognize and reject what is false. Help me stay fully devoted to You, not divided or distracted. Strengthen me to keep going when I feel weary, and remind me that Your promises are worth waiting for. Let my life reflect Your truth, and break my heart for what breaks Yours. Guide me, sustain me, and draw me closer to You through Your living Word. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Psalm 119:97–136 (Paraphrase)  NIV Oh, how I love Your Word— I think about it all day long. It makes me wiser than my enemies because it is always with me. I have more understanding than my teachers because I meditate on Y...

Good Thursday Morning, Prayer Warrior.   We are reading and praying the longest chapter in the Bible, Psalm 119. Today we are read verses 49-96. Here is our prayer: Lord, in seasons of waiting and hardship, help me to see what You are shaping in me. When I feel worn down or overlooked, remind me that Your Word is steady and unchanging. Teach me to trust Your timing even when answers seem delayed. Use every challenge to draw me closer to You and to deepen my understanding of Your truth. Help me to value what is eternal over what is temporary, and to hold firmly to Your promises when everything else feels uncertain. I am Yours—sustain me, guide me, and keep my heart anchored in You. Amen. Psalm 119:49–96 (Paraphrase)      NIV       ESV         KJV Remember Your promise to me, Lord— it is the reason I have hope. When I am suffering, Your Word comforts me and gives me life. Proud people mock me, but I do no...
